How Our Provider Network Works

Talk to a provider

Who You Talk To

Directorsguidance Tree Service does not send anyone to your property. When you ask for help, you are matched with an independent provider in our network. The person who answers works for that provider. It may be someone who books jobs or someone who gives estimates. Titles differ from one business to the next.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a short, orderly chat:

1. First, they ask where the tree is and what is wrong with it. 2. Next, they ask about size, access and anything close by, such as wires, fences or the house. 3. Then they may ask you to send photos or set up a visit. 4. Last, they explain timing, a price range and what comes after.

Call hours vary by provider, so a missed call is not a bad sign. Try again or send a request through the form.

What to Ask a Provider

Keep this list by the phone:

  • Are you insured, and can I see proof?
  • Will you give a written quote that lists every step?
  • Does the price include cleanup and hauling?
  • Who handles the stump, and is it part of the quote?
  • How do you protect the lawn, roof and fences?
  • What upkeep do you suggest once the tree is gone?
  • Can you help document the damage if I need to file a claim?

Paperwork to Have Ready

First, document it. Photos from a few angles help a provider judge the job. Add short notes: the date, the tree type if you know it, and any recent hail, snow or wind. Keep a tidy file for quotes, receipts and notes from each conversation.

You Are in Control

Asking for an estimate does not commit you to anything. You can compare more than one quote. You can say no. Ask questions until the plan makes sense, and be wary of anyone who rushes you. Typical U.S. costs vary a lot with tree size, access and risk, so get the price in writing before work starts.
